I always thought the hardest thing
in this world-was to live in it.
Now I know that I was wrong-

is to see a loved one slipping
away before your very eyes and
there is nothing that you can
do help them.

and smile, lie, to your face and
nod and talk about when you
will be better.

to lose a loved one who you would
willingly swap places with in a heartbeat.
The hardest thing in this world-is to
watch you slowly slip away, getting
closer to death with every minute
that passes.
