Words are a beautiful way to express your inner most feelings, you did so well here. The poem is crafted very well overall. I believe though you are talking about memories. And what used to be. The "words" in one hand could be talking about a pen or something you wrote with, sometimes you have a lot to say, but then silence sneaks in and then sometimes you get writers block. Memories are sometimes very hard to remember, but what a beautiful dedication you have written. You want to remember an event or this person or both, through words, the only way you know how. The rhyming to me is wonderful and a lost art it seems. Great write!

Miss someone, the loss of someone and tying it into poetry... well its just a wonderful small poem.. I love her creative twist of play on words with "While" and I liked it so much that for me that was the key to this piece... just wonderful!!

I think that sometimes when we write, particulary about affairs of the heart, we like to get all wordy and extravagant......when in fact often the most beautiful pieces are those that are simply honest and straight forward.

I thought that this piece was stunning :)

I am also in search of something in my poetry, even others poetry, as well.
I have not defined it as of yet. I think I may be looking for some type of Esoteric Knowledge, and I am waiting to be chosen by the elite holders of said insight.
My favorite line is the very first, "With a bunch of words in one hand..."
My left hand freely reaches for a verb from my lost and found.

This is a lovely little piece that captivated me from start to finish - a really unique write.
