Love, spells and complications

by Maher   Aug 26, 2014

Love falls.
Droplets of forever, poised in stance.
Critical, analytical expanse.
Save the ones who've found a route in chance,
floating through the tiers of outer space.
Rolling down foliaged hills without a trace,
pretending all is well, to save face.

Down below.
A drifter casts a spell upon a stone,
to struggle through the ages all alone.
Though nothing in his life was ever free,
every spell he'd cast, he'd lose a year.
Ask of his game, he'd profess not to hear,
but speak of shame and you'd surely disappear.

Two-fold.
As the seasons change from hot to cold.
Temperamental are the genes we can't control.
By the light we hoard away as we grow old,
we may never see the brightness buried deep in our souls.
Over-complicate the words that we're so often told
and over-compensate for things we can't grip or hold.

This phenomena is life, not the spoils of war.
Live by account of respect, love - humble to all.
