A Journal

by Everlasting   Aug 28, 2014

I made my journal a ghost
covered with blankets
out of my black past
from cover to cover.
But some fools saw it.
Exposed it to the world's eyes
As though it was alive.

Journal,
let them expose you,
for there's less mystery
In the living.

Inspired by a poem written by William Butler Yeats, "a coat."

    This is one of those writes where it looks simple on the outside but the depth of it is immense! Once again it all depends on whose hands it falls into..excellent!

    I liked this poem a lot, we control the journal of our future before its written, once our life finds the past the journal is subject to whoever comes across its hiding place. A really good write,
