Life's Vantage Point

by cassie hughes   Aug 29, 2014

From here upon this vantage point,
I have a clear view
of sandy shore and rocky cove
and ocean deeply blue.

The people dotted all about
are ant like in their size,
and as I watch them live their lives
it makes me realize.

That in the larger scale of things
I am so very small.
It matters not how long I live
or if I live at all.

The world will go along its way
without me as it must.
For ever spinning here in space
When I have turned to dust.

It is very true that we are very small compared to everything in this universe so big and our existence hardly matters.....
    This poem is extremely good

"The world will go along its way
    without me as it must.
For ever spinning here in space
When I have turned to dust."

And these lines especially they were too good...this poem could not have a better ending
