Scream

A sound pierces through the night
a sound full of surprise and fright
a mother a father
a sister a brother
a family missing one soul

they see their older sisters body
still
swinging from its noose

blood dripping from her mouth
wrists
neck
legs
hips
thighs

soaking through her flimsy nightgown

her face full of an infinite conflict
yet at peace.
a peace full of sorrow
anguish
despair

parents drowning in their tears

a sister sobbing on her knees
