Deaths Embrace

by Deathwish   Sep 9, 2014

Death wraps it's cold arms around me
enfolding me in a gentle embrace
inviting me into a peaceful Void
no pain, no fear
nope not here
Death whispers low
many voices, female, male, young, old
all echo in that whisper soft
it promises peace, quiet, safety, seclusion
I reach for the Void
wanting it all to end
Death unfurls midnight wings
black feathers slowly fall like a light shower of black snow
the wings enfold us on a feathery cocoon
Death and I in its center
it's arms still around me
Eyes like icy blue glacier pools gaze into my own
as we drift along the abyss

Death is never the best option. Within every scar, healing dwells.
