Sky Clad Spell

by cassie hughes   Sep 10, 2014

If it harms none, you
can do what you will,
the trees seem to whisper
as I start on the spell.

The stars hold their breath
as a circle I draw
and the candle flames dip,
underlining the law.

I open my heart to
the goddess, and then,
I open my arms
to the earth and begin.

Invoking the blessing
as aged as time,
I stand 'neath the moonlight
clad only in sky.

As one with the forest
my spirit runs free
At last, here alone I
can really be me.

Aww this is beautiful Cassie, truly inspiring and freeing... It made me think of Angie and Maple Tree, they would both love this and relate to it greatly!

It has a small hint of sadness in it that you don't feel you can be free anywhere else but here, but it is also comforting that you have this outlet and secret escape from the world.

    Beautiful.

I don't see why there are no comments here yet, this is beautiful. I love the simplicity to it.
