This is such a beautiful feel-good poem! You really depicted what falling in love is like, and I think many people can relate to this poem.

    "Your arms became my blanket
of hope when you reached out and
drew me inside your warm embrace."

^^ I love this stanza. I just love the idea of someone's arms becoming your blanket, just like your safety net. That's what we all are looking for in a way.

    "Falling in love deeper than
    the ocean around us,
    my mind and my heart
    finally synced together-
    they both knew
    you were going to be
    the one."

^^ You summarized your poem in the ending.. reading it was like a breath of fresh air. I like how you said that your mind and heart was synced together to show that this really is love and he is your soulmate.

    Great job with this poem!

Title: This holds such a simplistic view, but it says a lot about what the poem is about, to me with such a beautiful title the poem will be metaphoric!

First- You instantly set the feelings they have for each other. The landscape holds a romantic tone and you added in words nicely to get that heartstring of the reader. You are on a beach for sure and when your eyes met, you connected quickly.

Second- You just knew, the heart just knows when you have fallen in love at first site. You have here. Everything in the past has faded and now you two are living in your own little world. That's true love anyways.

Third- Wow! This stanza is very powerful. You spent all day with each other and now it is night time. Though the city is sleeping normally, the first kiss awakened a long dormant light inside of your heart. Something that you were longing for, for a long time and found within this person.

Ending- Again you just know when they are the one for you. The use of nature with love is clichéd honestly, but you brought a fresh perspective to it, and this poem gives the reader a very calm and peaceful feeling. Well done. 5/5

New side of Saffie this week... it's elegant, vibrant and full of love, romance and life. I adore who style and this poem is flavored with such a pretty flow.

She is challenged to craft a poem on someone else's few of falling in love.. that's hard to do and yet she mixes her own thoughts and feelings in the mix which is what I felt while reading.. really admire this lovely poem!
