Wolves Howl.......
And poor Cheyenne is yet staring at the empty bowl laying on the broken floor
He wishes it had even a drop of water in it for his drying mouth
For it had been almost three days since he'd had a sight of a so called piece of bread
And the butterflies in his tummy now makes it even harder to breath
But again he does what he normally does best,
Look up in the skies with his hands folded, hoping
the odds are still in his favour!
Snakes Hiss.......
And poor Cheyenne his late Mom and Dad is what he terribly misses
He refuses to believe that from his sweet mother, never again he'll ever receive those comforting kisses
And the thought of it even breaks his little heart that yet had a lot to bear, into tiny pieces
He mourns his eyes out, and wishes its better he had died along with them!
People scream......
And poor Cheyenne remembers how like all other youngsters, he too once had a dream
A dream he'd always sing of, and cherished about!
With a gloomy face and tears rolling down his small cheeks, it almost kills him to the fact that there ain't nothing there of a dream to achieve anymore
He cries even harder..... And for the love of God, he prays for even a shred of bliss in his young, but yet shattered life!
Big Animals Roar.........
And poor Cheyenne glances at his feetless legs
He wipes his unceasing tears and starts to crawl
He goes back in time! When he used to be the best athlete in his junior school, and back in the hood, too
And how that made his father proud.....
But not until he got eclipsed by the sight of those terrible blisters that in the end took his feet away!
Owls Hoot.........
And poor Cheyenne reminisces on the sight of that fateful day, when that merciless gunman took those merciless shots
He remembers how his dying parents made those painful shouts
How the agony escaped their mouths!
Just how his dying mother looked at the killer in the face with her sympathetically shutting eyes!
Dogs Bark..........
And young Cheyenne glances at the clock
It's 11 past meridian.....
The exact same time when Cheyenne found Maria hanging on the rope
Cold, and her body quite lifeless!
His sister, his only begotten sibling
Finally hung herself........
How Cheyenne still remembers the look on her face!
Days embark........
And young Cheyenne keeps on suffering
Life has yet turned its back on him
His fate, the odds, probably and the gods he prays to, have simply forgotten the hell outta him!
No mother to cling onto, no father to run to, no nothing to keep him move on!
A broken and a barely beating heart, a starving tummy, feetless legs, and memories that still haunts!
Is all that he is left with...........
The Sun Rises at Dawn........
And young Cheyenne is yet lying on his back
Not breathing.... not at all
Though with a gaping mouth and eyes half closed, its not hard to notice the cute little glint on his face!
His young and innocent spirit hopefully beguiling in heaven...........
