"Quiet," he said closing his liquid amber eyes
Silence.
Not a cricket chirped nor frog croaked
He stood silent and still as a statue
"I had a word with the earth, it promised non of her fellow elements would bother our night," he said silkily, he fell into his vigil as if the wind was whispering to him in a language that only he could understand, fire leapt from his fingers like a tiny fireworks from his fingertips, the fire curled around his hands and arms like tiny beautiful snakes I stared in awe as the fire danced
