Beauty Within

People often tell me to walk away,
And they often tell me you aren't good enough,
But they do not know you.
They do not know the side of you I see,
The side I fell in love with.
I just want them to be able to see you as I see you.
To realize how truly amazing you are.
And how truly amazing you make me feel I have become.
You have seen me through rose-colored glasses at one point,
You make me feel as though I am a bluebird trapped in the body of a girl,
Like I am actually meant to fly.
