Capture the stars
They’re yours to keep,
The sea it whispers,
A dream come true,
The rivers go dancing
Their water so blue,
The precious stars,
They fade away
The sunlight creeps
Across the bay
As if to fling
All cares away
The dusk peeks in
Upon the day
Little by little
The stars shine through
Bit by bit
They welcome you
The light beam tosses
A sign of grace
The afterglow shining
Upon my face
Like scarves of silk
Against the sky
The sunset creeps
I know not why.
