THERE WAS THIS GIRL

by charli   Sep 24, 2014

Her hair is tied in a fishtail braid.

She is wearing a necklace her sister made

She has eyes like shining stars

a smile that is as big as mars

Her freckled look like teenssy chocolate chips on her white chocolate skin

And living life is her win

but then in her room alone

her smile drops like a stone

and you see the lines on her skin

And she is wondering will she let sandess win

a rope in the corner

her mother is now a mourner

and her father

and brother

Hey charli, pretty good but sad poem.very good though how you used two contrasting emotions (calm Serenity and depression and suicide), ok that's more than two, but anyway, these contrasting emotions, the way your words flowed from one mood to the next was flawless and seemless,I congratulate you on that :-)
