That is so beautiful Andrea, kinda brought tears to my eyes, really touched my heart.it's very true that"when walking into darkness, the light will find you, and my light saved me, from being shattered again"so beautifully sad.may I be so bold as to ask if I may read the one you didn't want to write?

Awwwww I wish I could share it... but after I posted it... I realized that because of certain circumstances of the person I was writing of, for my well being it shouldn't be public - thank you for your comment sweets :-)

Awwwwww Meme- You and I have always connected with each other's poetry and with this piece I am really touched that it made an impact on you... Sometimes there is things that a writer needs to write about but is also very hard to share... I struggled off and on with this poem... but I am happy with the final result... To have a negative memory and make it into a positive poem.... is a gift... and I am really happy I finally posted it... love you <3 and thank you

I have said it before and I will say it again.. and probably again and again, and again!!

But... I really do love your poems where you just write exactly what it is you have to write. This is one of those few poems!

Your title interested me as I could not guess where the poem would take me, and then as I read, I got the idea of where you were taking the poem from the title.

I really think the emotion in this piece speaks out to those who have been there, and also, to those who haven't but can empathise at any relationship changing, and the hope that it will bring something new, and happen for a reason.

    Shackles bare witness
    to the innocence of past-

    - I cannot tell you how much I love these lines, they really stand out and kick me, I think they are amazing and hold such strong imagery on their own, really shows the depth of the poem, and how we can sometimes become trapped b something, and feel it weighing us down and keeping us still.

    I adore this poem xx
