My destiny

by Ashley Greening   Jul 5, 2004

If I'm not able to come back to you,
And if these last breaths
Are spoken with false promises,
And if these fairytale thoughts
Are hollow inside,
Then please don't wake me from this reverie.
In it lies my destiny.
For I don't want to die alone.
I only want to die with you.
So if I need to realize that this isn't real,
Don't tell me I need to.
It's not worth ruining my fragile happiness.
Even for a moment.
