Turbulent state of mind

by Dancing Rivers   Oct 5, 2014

Turbulent motions, coursing through my neurons.
Fear-filled notions, entrancing me for eons-
running, running, slowly-sweetly
darkened dreamy emotions evoked.
Marching, chanting, storming steadily,
'till my being is entirely provoked.

Lying, dying, running away,
moving swiftly, drifting away.
Humming, thrumming, strumming so sweet.
knowledge, power, strength so great,
ages, powers, knowing so deep,
Time to time as we procreate.

Turbulent motions, coursing through our neurons...

I agree with Senyru - I too read this with such a short and choppy pace to the poem that it was a really fun poem to read. I was also thinking back to my chemistry classes, or science classes, with all the different terms used and how they all seemed so hard to remember at the time! It reminded me of those classes so much!!

Excellent little poem, very clever to use what you had learned in school, and put it into this poem, well done!!
