After the storm

by Dancing Rivers   Oct 5, 2014

After the storm-the bitter storm,
the tree of life-uprooted-looked so forlorn.
After the storm-the bitter storm,
three remains of yesterday-shattered-lay in fragments on the lawn.
After the storm-the bitter storm,
the wings of love's butterflies-dead and gone-were left torn.

After the storm-the bitter storm,
my last chance was lost-to my enemy sworn.
after the storm-the bitter storm,
skeletons danced as though they'd been reborn.
After the storm-the bitter storm,
her dark dreamland, was lost to the morn'.

After the storm-the delightful storm,
the tree of life's new seeds were born.
After the storm-the delightful storm,
the remains of yesterday shone like dew at dawn.
After the storm-the thrilling storm,
the wings of love's butterflies, were perfectly reformed.

After the storm-the delightful storm,
my last chance-once lost-was to me again sworn.
After the storm-the delightful storm
skeletons sang a song,I cannot recall.
After the storm-delightful storm,
her dark dreamland washed up on the shore.

After the storm-the delightfully bitter storm,
God's image-mankind-through mother earth was Borne.

I love the way the storm is used to play the show the delightful as well as bitter pictures, something very diffucult to do.
