    Wow this is immense!

    As Avery said, this is sad but true. This is the world we live in nowadays. The first stanza shows a real fear drowning is no joke. I can see this as crying to release inner emotions and the innocence of childhood that was taken away. A lot of kids have had to grow up before they should because a tragedy strikes them. I know this well.

    The most difficult part of abuse is other people acting like nothing happened and the stigma of mental illness is not something people like to talk about. Are we truly free from pain or is that what happiness wants us to think? I'm not even sure anymore. This ending is heart breaking and true.

    I actually love how you worded this. The tundra could be represented in some many ways. I see here though as it being the feelings inside of being depressed and sad and not knowing how to seek help, and usually they have no support around them. I love this poem so much. Nominated, 5.
