First: This sets up a scene of a romantic feeling of two young lovers dancing beside the shoreline. This beach is special to them as I can assume maybe they met there? I love the first two lines though. What a beautiful sight to imagine. The waves are calm and are in rhythm of each persons steps and possibly heartbeat. Again the emotions here set up a romance that will bloom forever.

Second: Oh, here is where the scene starts getting a bit more sad. The key word here to me is imagination. Maybe one lover is alone and imagining what it was like before. But this is also a great scene as it sets up the beautiful atmosphere you are trying to create. "The calm before the storm" almost.

Third: Back to the romance of the poem. I love this as it snaps the reader back to attention. I love the play on the eyes, it works well to hit and connect with the readers heart. They say eyes are windows to the soul and that's what I see here. A new found home, found by falling in love by looking into each others eyes, beautiful stanza.

Four- What a great ending that is full of emotions. The young lovers are no longer young it seems and with that dreams are over. The back and forth emotions here play well together. It's almost a double view point in some aspects. But the title is perfect. Great poem hon. 5

Each and every line so powerful but I love these two particular lines the most.....
