Hmmm, I found this interesting, but also very genuine of the current generation of humanity. A lot of times in relationships, one person can be the only one who loves and cares about the other person. Sometimes the other person doesn't even really care about his partner, and he/she is only in the relationship to satisfy their own personal wants or needs. What makes matters even worse is when the person who is putting their all into the relationship knows deep inside that their partner doesn't truly love or care about them, yet they continue to love this person. I'm guilty of this myself in past relationships, holding onto something when I need to let go no matter how much it's going to hurt because you will find someone, one day, who cares and loves you back and will put as much of their time and effort in the relationship as you are. |
