Dream Catcher

by Baby Rainbow   Oct 13, 2014

Dear Child,

I am the sparkly dream catcher
you see twirling above your head
as you cry yourself to sleep.

Hush now child,
there is nothing to fear,
for I will use my bolts of
magic to slay your
taunting demons.

Weep all of your worries
into your pillow, and I
will gather them inside
my whirlwind, blowing them
away in the night.

And when morning comes,
your eyes will open to see
a brand new day has arrived,
and your nightmares were safely
captured between the feathers
in my web.
