My Master

by Maple Tree   Oct 16, 2014

Bloodbath of memories
poured from a veinless
demon-

with my eyes.

I walked like a corpse
for days before you,
and nights after you.

Gripping the heart of my master
as capillaries dangle
tween phalanges-

I rise from the catacombs
of death to claim what is mine..

Whoever had the decency to lower the value of this poem should be punished! I love this poem It didn't bring me goosebumps but it did did bring a smile to my face because 1. you made this poem beautifully 2. I love the wording and I don't want to say "diction" since too many people use that word anyways 3. The imagery is just too unique in words I can't even describe since it's past my wording! 4. I love dark poems and not many people KNOW how to make a true dark poem but you did! Congratulations Andrea I love you poem it made me smile and I love the line about how the demon has your eyes since it makes me think hehehe, well this is intresting *rubs my hands evily* no just kidding I was intreged because many people have that vision whether they believe it or not but they are their own demons and they have killed themselves inside but it could also imply a demon taking possesion of your body. Oh well thank you for good read 5/5

Oh my gosh!!!! This is disturbingly descriptive and vivid, yet stunning and intense and for some reason I find myself in tears for reading this piece
