Roses Are Red

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I'm laying in bed,
Thinking of you

We are happy,
We are strong,
We even have a family,
What went so wrong

We spilt,
You and the boys are gone,
Making me homeless,
So cold I had a fit

You text me,
I think its coz you want a chat,
You want this, you want that,
Oh wait your just to being a twat

I used to love you,
How stupid could I be,
You talk about us starting again,
I rather hang From a tree...

(struggling day to day with life and fighting to see my children)

    I like this poem A LOT.

    I have been there, got the t-shirt and the mug even the damn bumper sticker and this is a hard place to go man.

    Really, this write spoke volumes to me and there was a time when reading this would have helped me a little back then.

    I like how open and honest you are in it especially...

    "Making me homeless,
    So cold I had a fit"

    I remember being too proud to ask for help when this happened to me, sitting in my car in November and being so cold I just wanted to throw up.
