Rainbow Artist

by Rainbow Writers   Oct 18, 2014

Wonderment grows above in a form of colors,
sunshine washes over passing storm clouds.
Writers muse at the beauty of an artist's palette,
mixed together to form an incredible rainbow.

Passion bleeds from a poets paint brush in the forms of red.
Strong emotions of love and infatuation ooze on the canvas.
A relationship between painter and art is entwined,
as the first part of the rainbow is complete and defined.

Orange symphonies smear across the horizon,
blending and bending to the canvas light.
An arch of a smile spreads across his face
as inspiration strikes within the hues of fate.

Brightening the canvas, yellow blooms
in staccato burst of brush from joyful hand
as landscape, set before his eager eyes,
emerges from the chaos up till now perceived.

Green graceful strokes forming trees, capture the canvas
which could, once, only capture his eyes.
The lush green trees on the canvas sway with a gust of wind,
flowing from the artist's heart, spreading love and happiness.

A blue indigo shade reflects in his eyes,
each meticulous stroke set by a steady hand.
A picture forms from the white, so faint,
welcoming his brush again to his palette's paint...

Ultra violet is his soul,
Painting memories of times,
when we were one and whole
everything was sublime,
in his ultra violet eyes,
that I've grown to despise.

There will always be beauty in the expression
of a rainbow, each color is tied to a unique personality.
No matter what he creates within the canvas,
his heart will always be one of a true artist.
