Proverb of a Leaf Shower

by Maple Tree   Oct 20, 2014

Goddess of wind,
bowed her weary head.

Shedding leafy tears,
showering down upon
my soul.

Colors of veins,
soaking sun bleached skin
from the season before
Autumn, anointed
by her simplistic sacrifice.

All around me-
Consumed by fallen
leaf rain, hidden
beneath a sun peeked
coven,
I was revived by her exiting
pain.

Goodbye Summer
fallen Autumn Sings
nature's hidden drummer
musical love notes with wings.
