The pain in this poem is so close to mine people see me so happy and yet sometimes I just let my true grief come out and just let the world know the kind of pain that comes into someone and let them know that time doesn't always heal the wounds of a departed soul that you truly loved! I enjoyed reading this poem, you used your own username and gave life to the true person you are by telling the reader the true pain you're in. Since the beginning line I was caught since masks often decieve and so do people also the line that hurt my heart in smpythetic pain was

"Because the one I love is no longer here,"

That simple and heartfelt line ripped my heart open with fresh wounds because I understand oh so much how that line may feel to the one that still grieves for her husband, lover, or boyfriend. Untill someone has loved and lost they will never understand this line because the rest is strong written but this one line will rip you apart in it's simple beauty. Great job 5/5

Saffie, this is such a beautiful acrostic and it seems like this is based on your life recently. Inside is where your troubles remain, that could mean inside your head as in thoughts or inside of your heart and soul or a combo of all three. It really is interesting to see how people grieve, because we all have a habit of processing it in different ways, you seem to be writing about it a lot and that is great, because sometimes as poets we don't exoress ourselves through speech very well and in that we have to create to let our inner most feelings out.

The darkness has become your habit that is difficult to break, because though it might not seem like a friend it has turned into one. I know this place well. It's difficult to describe to someone who has never truly felt it. Nothing can ease the pain because the only person that could have is the one whose pain you feel now. You turn to God in your prayer and just want to know that this person is safe. The flow of this poem is beautiful as you did a great job with the restrictions. 5/5
