This is beautiful Saff! You sure know how to put together an emotional poem! Probably has a greater effect on me because I know you! Everything is there that needs to be - a perfect start, middle and ending! Just wish I could wave a wand and make it happen for you! |

Goodbye is difficult in any situation, but when it is a person close to you, I understand that can make it worse. I liked the perspective you used here as well, you seem to be lost in your own thoughts while you think about your loved one. He passed away and you are still in the grieving process. Memories are difficult because they can bring you back to that day and before, to a time where he was still alive and that in turn can be more painful on a heart. The only way you can remember him or express how you feel is through your writing inside your notebook and he is the pen that helps you write out what you do remember. It's a healing process that is different for each person. |
