    Wow!

    What an outstanding poem!

The description again is just so vivid! Every second detailed as if your reader can walk through that morning routine with you and walk through the house and out the door.. Then smack!

I really like your twist at the end and how that cold air really is sharp, but that is the first thing you have felt that morning, first thing that perhaps makes you remember you are alive after all!

    Another great write!

Honestly I do not believe that this piece belongs in the sad category, especially with the final two lines being what they are. However, it is a brilliant piece. It truly showcases what the world can do to you if you are not careful and how so many people feel at different points in their life. Though more than anything I think it is the way you worked so well and created such depth with something so simple that makes this piece stand out so much. The flow is spot on. Your voice truly shines. Your style is interesting. Your word choice has power for being so simple. Over all, it's nothing but a beautiful piece.

There is something about this poem which stands out to me this week. The wording is so simple, such an ordinary day being described, and yet it is filled with detail about each action as it comes. I find it quite a talented start for this new author. The content of the poem is one which many can get an understanding of, when perhaps they have felt lethargic about life, or numb through some other fault, and that sudden rush of winter air hits them like a tonne of bricks. It shows just how numb the character felt, and how relieved they were just to feel something, anything, which made them feel alive again.
