    Larry-

I relate to this piece completely and I feel others who read it will as well.

What a powerful piece and it comes from the soul of the man and his pen which is another reason why I adore this poem.

Running from the mind of cluttered thoughts. Playing catch up with a shadow from the past. Always running from yourself.... sighs... oh how I sank in each line. Perfect reflection of a daily struggle that affects us all... powerful piece by you!

I find that running produces a state of mind uniquely its own

Running proliferates neurogenesis or so I've been told

    :]

Hmm. Following your lead I discover that eating Omega-3 & turmeric, then running, yet reducing caloric intake, will increase factors contributing to neurogenesis.
Think I'll keep running from myself.

Hmm plus it seems that turmeric works as a prevention for cancer. Mom said a man he met in the supermarket, told her that. She found it interesting that this man was filling bags of turmeric.. So she approached him and asked him. The things one learns in the supermarket.

Oh and running is said to release dopamine - a neurotransmitter that may help one deal with depression.

So it's not so bad to keep running... I may try that, I mean to start running from myself, if I catch me, I may then start running from my shadow, or may be I'll wait until I catch my breathe, and then, I'll continue running from myself.

Hi, I have always found that running wasn't the problem....it was what do I do when I stop?

I really liked this piece, it made me think about my own life and smile :)

There's a dark undertone to this with a theme many can relate to - running away from yourself. Excellent piece.
