Summer Heat

by Ren   Nov 6, 2014

Sweet summers full,
Of intertwining fingers,
A web of bursting memories,
The sweet laughter that lingers.

An innocent smile,
Or a crooked grin,
A heart put up for trial,
The reality of sin.

Flushing cheeks,
And desperate sighs,
Exhausted shivers,
Those tempting blue eyes.

Quivering lips,
Whisper dangerous words,
Feeling frantic,
A desire to be heard.

An unquenchable lust,
Muscle deep,
An undying trust,
A risky leap.

The thrill of being young,
Wild and free,
Like two lover's initials,
Carved in a tree.

The echoes of summer,
Once so innocent to hear,
Reality sinking closer,
The threads of time will tear.

Warmth turns to cold,
The world slows its spin,
The skies slowly darken,
Emotions run thin.

A summer fling over,
With no regrets,
Reality creeps closer,
The sun finally sets.

I really don't know how should I illustrate the splendor of this breathtaking write. What a fantastic flow of lines and segments you have created. This write is very just.

The wording here in this write is just touching any other galaxy. I like the way you have mixed the sentimental thoughts with nature. The ending is I can say is quite amazing and sad with the sun sets.

    This is my beloved segment:

    Flushing cheeks,
    And desperate sighs,
    Exhausted shivers,
    Those tempting blue eyes.

You are expressed the stream of love very clearly while it also holds the sadness within it in the end.

    Remarkable write.
