In my dreams

Dozing off to sleep
Without a word, without a peep
Laying so silent and so still
Dreaming about whatever my mind will

Dreaming about the ones that I love
Dreaming about The Lord up above
Wanting to see my babies beautiful smile
Wanting to hold my girl, if only for a little while

While off in dreaming there's a lot I wanna see
Living happily ever after with my bride to be
Or flying in a plane so high in the sky
Watching all the clouds as the plane passes by

Or floating down a river with the water crystal clear
Fishing for a record trout, drinking a nice cold beer
Or maybe even talking to my mother once again
Asking her for advice about this world I'm living in

There's nothing like a dream, a transcendent time
Projecting myself anywhere, don't even need a dime
In my dreams is where I want to be
Because in my dreams never know what I'll see
