This is beautiful..

So sad! Preparing for new life only to have it taken. There is such depth of experience here, both in the description of Nursery walls, the cosmic analogy to existence, the overwhelming devastation, the nebulous cause. This poem is painfully exquisite.

Judging Comment:

This piece is wonderful, there is so much heart and imagery in this piece that the reader is fully intrigued. The emotions here are almost overwhelming - in a good way. Wonderful piece depicting such an intense message. Colm never seems to have an issue with wording, with flow, with any of the technical points to poetry, but this piece goes above and beyond that usual touch.
