I saw you were sad, but When we accidentally locked eyes, you smiled. And I know it was a fake smile, because that's the smile you give to strangers when they spot you looking at them. Why did you put on a fake smile though ? You don't have to hide anything. I'm just a stranger, I don't even smile at work when I'm sad, and why should I?
She looked at me and said, yeah, the smile was fake.. But it brought you to me didn't it? Even though I'm sad, I smiled, because a smile opens up more opportunities than a frown.. And you just proved that... And besides, at this point, the smile is real.
