Emotions get the best of us a lot of times and often we feel burnt out and undesirable. This poem shows great sympathy for the person in the painting and they can do nothing but stand in awe of the people looking from outside living their lives as if nothing as happened. The wording is splended as it details every moment captured. It is symbolic that strangers don't help, because this is what the earth is coming to nowadays, I do like how you put that in. The irony here is that you want to keep your feelings hidden yet, they are painted and hung for the world to gaze at. And you feel that no one can understand the world you live in.
