One day, my love, just an ask not a plea
^^I like the opening. It feels so sincere and warm and
it draws a tender image of the writer and his mood. I also like the way the couplets rhyme here...Nice!
Moons and hearts, my love, promises ever more
^^Another line I like. Moons do have a way of hypnotizing our hearts making us say and make promises.
I have been, my love. Us, standing at the edge
If you push us over, do we fly?
^^This ending has got me confused; but the last line gives lots of ideas for the reader. The very word push can mean pushing over the limit, pushing for more or even pushing love away. So it leaves the reader with a question mark.
All in all an interesting way to end this love poem for there is more to it which only the writer knows and the reader guesses...suspense!
