Sugar & Cream

by sonya   Nov 21, 2014

If I'm crazy, then I'm crazy for you. I will fall in love with everything you do. I will bump chairs, stumbling after you, Honey. So sweet, so new, like a coffee mug that's big enough for two. I love you, be my sugar and cream to my life. So bittersweet like no one I never really knew. Let me smell like newspaper and vanilla bean while you smell like a peach rose dream. You look like a rose that grew from concrete, so trustworthy, we know you'll never cheat. And all I know is that you're so new, like a limited edition mug that's built for two. Be my sugar and cream to my life, my life's bitter, make me your wife. I'm scared and I know it, I'll admit it to you. But your twinklin' aquamarine gleamers are so true. My head's filled with hope and dream of someplace that's better than here. If you leave me, I'll move to a place where nobody knows my name. One day I won't have anything to fear.
