Roaming Free (tanka)

This is an interesting perspective of man and women. While it is true that woman can calm man down, and even vice versa, man is just man and you shouldn't want to change the person they are. Is it not passion that makes us human? I believe in retrospect what you are saying here is, you can calm man but you cannot take the 'wild' out of them. Deep down inside don't we all just have a wild side? Age is just a number and you are only as young as you feel inside, that's what matters. I like this poem because I think a lot of people can relate to this (if they are married) and there is so much truth in the brevity of this poem. 5/5
