Strong Child

You are so strong
for such a young child
So lost in your world
with hate an sorrow
Don’t know how you do it
I would breakdown
You’ve lived your life
so secretive, profound
The pain overwhelms me
I wish I could take it from you
So very sorry
yet so very proud of you
You’ve made it this far in your life
don’t give up hope now
You may lose part of you as time goes on
but part of you will live, Somehow!
