Larry has the ability to take a deep message and spill it onto paper, with style and grace. From a man's heart and soul. I admire his style!

The message holds true, failures are never forgotten while success is like a cloud in the sky, it comes and it goes...

My heart sank into each line.. it truly is sad how society would rather feed off of poisonous wrong doings rather the beauty and heart of a soul... Powerfully written piece by Larry this week!

Oh Larry........I do so love reading your work, I admire the subtleties in your writes and how in some piece I walk away with more questions than answers, you have such a great control over your craft.

That being said.......this was not atall Subtle.......perfectly raw and Matter of Fact! I love the questioning and almost contempt in the tone.

Awesome as Usual.

History shows that evil trumps good, sadly enough the news sprouts all the bad and while those who actually do good, are overlooked. No anyone can be forgiven for their wrong doings, but we as a society just look at a person for their negative and judge others for it. We do know better but we refuse to acknowledge what we realize is true- there is good in all of us, but this world is such a busy place, we don't stop and look. Fallen angels and demons, are they really so opposite? Maybe so. But sometimes I wonder, if given the opportunity, can we change history for the better, in present times, I think yes. I like this poem because it rings truth to my personal life, as in I do good and become invisible, but do wrong and get hurt. It's relatable to a lot of people I'll assume. The metaphors are wonderful here as well, they work well together and each stanza flows smoothly. 5/5

Failure is written on stone

^^I'm so into this line here! Its symbolic. Stone is unbreakable; even if you hammer it, it will break to thousand "whole" pieces but not totally. Likewise is failure. Its always and forever written in us and from that we can learn, improve, progress or simply moan.
Yet every success is recorded not only by us but by all!

Don't tell me that a man
is accorded the privilege
of having his evil buried
with him - we know better.

^^Just like History evil done can never be erased. No matter who or what you are. This stanza is written with such simplicity yet stands out with truth which all will agree to.

History loves nothing more
than delving into poisons
leaking from the souls
of fallen angels and demons.

^^I had to smile here because it reminded me of the book I read "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown. Yep historians do love it don't they as well as making documentary out if to show to the world too.

All in all this poem is not a message but more of an advice-whatever you do, think twice. Success, failures, good and evil all comes from you or ends with you. Liked the read!
