This is so sad hon. But it was great that you were able to let all of your feelings go. This poem holds a simplistic message, that speaks volumes. Your Nana was an angel through your eyes and special and close to your heart. I love the use of candle light here. It is usually what people do when someone close to them passes away. This person was a light in others lives. Though she was weak and frail that didn't stop her from shining a light into this world. She will always be in your heart and there to stay, and what she taught you will be there too. I'm going to nominate this when I can, if no one does before me. Xx 5/5

I love the style you chose for this piece, it is unique and really a unique form of concrete poetry. you poured your heart so honestly onto the page and I'm sure she will be missed greatly and lovingly beyond belief. Great job on the imagery in this, not only in the form of a candle, but in the worded images you created for us as well.

    Stunning piece, fantastic write.

I find this poem very beautiful to look at, and I admire the time the author must have taken to make this layout possible. The content of the poem is a personal dedication which touches on the loss of a grandparent, but the spirit of this lady lives on throughout her granddaughter, and also through all the other people she touched with her wisdom. A truly beautiful write, really reaches out to your heart.
