The Tides Of Life

by James Garrett   Dec 18, 2014

The tides of life come as naturally as a rising sun
The spring of youth that decides what you become.

The summer of doubt,
where we decide what a man is all about.

The fall of maturity shows how a man will react,
To the strong currents of emotions that so strongly distract.

The winter of discontent ,
It is the time of illness that we find so difficult to circumvent.

The beconing of a distant paradise,
That has been prepared by a heavenly thought that you did internalize.

Now lay you low Oh man of clay,
You depart this mortal coil to slumber until that day.
