Oh my...at first I thought it was about love, but its something even more...more hurtful. I too wonder when one's soul departs-does he/she will continue to know us.

What makes this piece more profoundly sad is that it speaks from the view point of a departing person rather then the usual "left behind" person.

How sad and moving...
