Lovesick Nights

Lonely days and long dark nights,
dulcet music with my lovesick lyrics.

Time destroyed with consuming thoughts,
devoting poetry to spirits lost.

Tears somehow dry as sleep approaches me,
and a royal glow of a handsome star
catches my heart as I close my eyes.
