Build a sandcastle of painful memories
and leave your past by the thrashing winter sea.

Look for the shimmer in the midnight sky
and make a wish upon that diamond,
for you to be able to let go of everything
that has ever hindered you from being free.

    I like the way the beginning of this piece makes it seem like you are going to write another stunningly heartbreaking poem but you instead follow it up with pure hope. With the temptation of a new beginning. Very well written. Beautifully penned.
