Wow, I love this! A poem which is so relevant to the time now being new year, and also just refreshing to read.

I like how you keep it truthful, and offer the chance to reflect on the not so good times, but to remember the good times, and also look forward to the unknown times too.

Great write, thank you for sharing, and Happy new year!

I am so glad you came back strong with this poem, such a powerful piece that is so true for this time of year. I love how you broke down each emotion and gave them a voice so to speak. It is interesting that we are full of regrets each time of year and we shed tears for it, but we also have memories that impact us whether they be good or bad. We can definitely push ourselves out of our comfort zone if we tried and each year people say they will but fall back into that zone. I love this for it's great wordplay and message, each person can relate to this, but also interpret it in their own way.

An excellent write with a perfect title 'a time for change'

    A time to challenge yourself.....
    to make the new year,
just that little bit more special.
To go out of your comfort zone,
    and to truly express
    who you are.

To expand and exert more than the previous one

To better the person you are.
    To find your true self,
or to value every moment in your life.

    Thoroughly enjoyed :)

I hope you get to truly express who you are in 2015 as you state within the bottom stanza.

Strong poem as always and I always one we can all take into account. I always enjoy reading your work as you know.

Keep it up, hopefully you'll post some new stuff soon.

A very refreshing read. The opening stanza is very gripping and then the rest of the piece follows suit. Written well.
