A Timeless Friend

by RustySoul   Dec 31, 2014

Cheer up my friend, why doth thou sulk,
These hours of dullness wilt come to pass,
Fret not, for thy vexed soul may find
That longed-for respite at last.

If, in the multitude, thyself find alone,
And if thou should long for a company,
I shall be there to hold thy hand
I promise, I'll be thy friend for eternity.
