Our Demons

by Francis   Jan 1, 2015

Who are our demons?
They occupy our minds
In the deepest crevices
Is where they will reside

They're making love connections
With others of their kind
People often forget
That Its them who make love blind

If you fall in love
It doesnt happen alone
It's always been our demons
that choose where you belong

Demons fall in love
By Finding one that they hold close
They may fall for the Demons
That dwell in the one you love most

Their love and doings are invisible
At least to most you see
But some are willing to look
In the darkest part they keep

The mind that you hide away
From others and yourself
The crazy you lock with a key
And the pain you show to no one else

That where the demons will remain
Unless needed or disturbed
Possibly wanted by your side
For better or for worse

Demons being the ones controlling our minds!????Demons making us fall in love!? That's the most brilliant thing I have heard. I have read poems attributing love to bad things to hormones, attractions but none so apt calling them demons!! Great idea.5/5.
