Lost Reasons

I let you slip away
without saying goodbye,
and lately I can't find
the reasons to tell me why.

I let us fall apart
and that really breaks my heart,
knowing you watched me go
whilst begging for me to come back.

And every night you haunt my dreams,
asking me why I never said goodbye,
and as you look into my eyes
I cannot find the reasons why.
