Sentimental

by Maple Tree   Jan 8, 2015

If you dropped a teardrop
onto the floor, I'd preserve
it, capture it's beauty
placing into my collection
of sentimentals.

I'm a sentimental women.

Each moment shared
has meaning-

When you rest your palms
upon an earthy bed of grass,
the hand print of your being stays with
me always.

Touch a tree?

I'll visit it daily, to recapture the essence
of you.

You fill my universe with beauty,
it's only natural for me to
savor the lingering effects
of your mere presence.

DUCK! The most pure and deep affection of faithfulness and dedication. The will to go further and forward, to give give give, to ceaselessly feel and appreciate.

You're indeed a sentimental woman, I love the gratitude atmosphere in your poem, love-wise, it's a very rare characteristics to find someone who'd be there for us, and to appreciate every single act we do.

    But then, there is you!

Beautiful metaphors and images, very very beautiful.
